Bloody stupid Suleiman ... won't trade Maths ...
Ok, a couple of other AIs are teching Maths so I should be able to trade for it in a couple (14!) turns. I can wait. I'll tech Literature and knock out The Great Library in the meantime.
Meanwhile, Charlemagne comes begging for Code of Laws (oh, ok) so I turn around and give him the 'alms for the poor' treatment that nets me 60g. I also flip Meditation to Sitting Bull for gold. A few turns later, Suryavarman II has finishes Maths ... but he won't part for it because he doesn't like me enough. I then do a rush job of trying to improve our relationship ...

At this point, my next Great Person is due in a few turns (100% Scientist) so I will horde gold, wait until my Academy is in play and tech stupid Mathematics myself. Welcome Hildegard of Bingen ... who? - another of Lemon's Female additions to the game. And so it is my first Academy in my Capital ... which shows off another of BAT's additions ... movies for National Wonders ...

I also have 4 or 5 chariots out completing my mapping of this land (I'll put together a large map next time I crack this game open). Other news?

- Removal of another Barb city gives me a Level 4 Swordsman
- I trade 1 of my Irons to Augustus Ceasar for Rice (what a nice chap I am)
- I finsih the Hanging Gardens (the AIs were total slow coaches on that)
- Christianity was founded on 160AD - must check out the AP situation
